Chantel says in the video: "Making pumpkin soup has never been easier."
So, do you do this easy peeling technique?
Simply halve a pumpkin and roast it in the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
Mama Mila explains that the roasting process softens the skin of the pumpkin, making it easier for home cooks to peel it off.
No more fighting with the peeler - this hack is sure to make your life easier.

The clip became an instant sensation among social media users after it racked up more than 24,000 views and comments from stunned users.
One user said that the skin of the butternut pumpkin is so tough that she can’t even cut it in half let alone peel it off, prompting her to thank Chantel for her helpful tip.
Meanwhile, another user claimed that she roasts the whole pumpkin rather than cutting it, noting that it takes longer to "cook" but is "less dangerous".
The SDC team would also like to share some of our personal tips for preparing your butternut pumpkin for cooking:
1. Start by preheating your oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
2. Cut your butternut pumpkins in half, lengthwise.
3. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and stringy pulp from the centre of each pumpkin half.
4. Place the pumpkin halves, cut side up, on a baking sheet.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the pumpkin flesh is soft.
Once your butternut pumpkins are cooked, you can use them in a variety of recipes. Try them in soups, stews, pies, or simply roasted with some herbs and spices.
