Mum shares a hilariously awkward detail caught in a picture of her cake hack

What was supposed to be a wholesome moment left one mum blushing. If there’s an award for the funniest ‘oopsie’ moments, we’re sure this one is bound to get nominated.

An Aussie mum left hundreds of users in hysterics after sharing an embarrassing detail that got lost in her Woolworths mud cake hack snap. Can you spot it?

Sharing the cake hack to a popular Facebook group, the mum revealed how others can replicate the beautiful birthday cake she made for her daughter using two $5.75 choc mud cakes from the supermarket giant.

However, upon closer inspection, she noticed an awkward detail displayed in the background of the picture. The caption that was flashed on the television screen read: ‘What is discharge?’

Well, that’s quite the ‘photobomb’, eh? Source: DailyNews

Instead of taking the post down, the mum lightheartedly joked about the unfortunate circumstance.

‘For my daughter’s first birthday party, I made this cake with two Woolies mud cakes!’ she wrote, adding: ‘Ignore the subtitles on the ad!’

Several Facebook users thought the timing was hilarious, sharing their thoughts about the cake and the ad in the comments section of the mum’s post.

‘The cake looks great. You might need to use some photoshop magic to cover the background!’ one person suggested.

‘OMG, the TV in the back. Hahaha! I love the cake!’ chimed another.

But a few members of the group went out of their way to help the mum out, using their tech skills to help cover up the inappropriate caption. One user blurred the caption to remove it from the image, while others added flower graphics to subtly hide it.

A funny mishap yes, censored no. A fact of life, most certainly. Perhaps the the phrase without the word Periods in the top right hand corner may have taken the awkwardness away from the photo. This couldn't be worse than a streaker at the Gabba which is witnessed by all those spectators & beamed across live t.v.
