Mum reveals the 'unusual' cleaner she uses to keep her mirror clean and streak-free for THREE months

Mirrors are notorious for collecting dust, lint, hard water, toothpaste, and whatever else is floating around in the air.
And when grime and gunk have been collecting on a mirror for several weeks or months already, cleaning it becomes even more difficult.
Spotless and streak-free mirrors are one of the best ways to make your home look like it was professionally cleaned – even if you did all the cleaning yourself!
While cleaning a mirror may seem like a quick and simple task, sometimes, even after washing it thoroughly, people find that the reflection is still "streaky."
So, how do you keep your mirrors spotless while also preventing streaks? Here, an Aussie mum seems to have the one tool that will do the trick.

Sharing on the popular Facebook group Mums Who Clean, a mum has revealed the "miracle" item that keeps her mirrors free of fingerprints and streaks for up to three months.
The mum posted pictures of her mirror in pristine condition along with a remark saying she could not possibly be the only person who frequently cleans their windows and mirrors with Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell.
"I have been using it for years and find my mirrors and windows stay clean for a long time," she added, explaining that the product keeps her windows and mirrors streak-free and spotless for up to three months.
Here's how she cleans her mirrors using the Turtle Wax product:

The post received thousands of likes and comments from her fellow cleaners who were in awe of how good the mirror looked after she removed the wax.
"Turtle Wax! Who knew? I am definitely going to try on my splash back," said one woman.
Meanwhile, a second one thanked her for the suggestion, saying: "We have so much of this at home because my husband gets the packets from Supercheap to clean his car but never uses it."
"Now, I can actually use it, thanks for the idea!" she added.
And she wasn't the only one using the turtle wax around the house either; other members of the cleaning Facebook group admitted to using it on their glass fixtures as well as on stainless steel, too.
One woman wrote in the comments, "'It's great on shower glass and knobs as well as the actual handheld shower too."
A second one agreed and added, "It's also amazing on acrylic surfaces like baths and shower bases. It will get all the grime off and have it coming up like new without ruining the surface."
Most auto supply shops sell the wax, and the price for one 473mL container starts at $18.
However, if you don't have the product at home and don't want to bother going out to buy it, here is another mirror-cleaning trick that only requires a few basic pantry items! Check out the video below:

Here's how she cleans her mirrors using the Turtle Wax product:
- With a cloth, apply the wax to your dirty mirror or glass and wipe it until the entire area "looks foggy."
- Wait for the wax to dry.
- Using a microfiber cloth, remove the wax.
- Use a microfiber cloth again to lightly dust as necessary.
- Repeat once every three months or as often as is required.
