Mount Gambier Sink Hole

I loved visiting Mount Gambier and loved the Sinkhole (Umpherston). It was so peaceful here
I lived in Mt Gambier for a short time in my teens and was amazed at the work they had done on Umpherston when I went for a trip there about 20 years ago. It was magnificent, so cool and calming. I recall there was also a much smaller sinkhole right in the middle of Mt Gambier off the main St, I think they called it a cave garden. Such a beautiful area, full of sink holes and the gorgeous Blue Lake. Your picture has inspired me to take another trip. It truly is unique.

Yes, I have been there 8 years ago but in the winter so no blooms, still was nice to see plus all the other sinkholes around Mt. Gambier. We encountered a possum which came right up to us.
