The Sydney couple made an enormous sum by selling their four-bedroom Bronte Court property for $4,044,444.44 (yes, 44 cents was included) which meant they collected $644,444.44, plus the $100,000 winning prize money, totalling $744,444.44.

The pair explained how the prize money and winning title will change their lives.

“We never had expectations or even hopes for that amount. This changes our lives as we’ve got a mortgage that we can’t jump over, but with this prize, we can take a great leap at it now,” Mitch said.

Mark added, “I think we’re in shock as we stuck to our guns about what we thought a family home was about, and it was a big risk”.

Coming in second at the auction were twins Josh and Luke Packham, who sold their property for $3,930,000 with a $530,000.00 profit.

In third place, Tanya and Vito Guccione gained $400,000.01 (yep, that 1 cent was in the bid!) after selling their home for $3,800,000.01.

Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson landed fourth, selling their property for $4,401,523.67 with a $301,523.67 profit.

And finally, coming in at fifth was Ronnie and Georgia Caceres, who sold their property for $3,696,000.00 with a $296,000.00 profit.

Mitch and Mark's stunning four-bedroom, three-bathroom family home is impressive for its contemporary style and cutting-edge functionality.

The contemporary feel is carried by the neutral tones and subtle pops of colour, while a dozen Velux skylights welcome rays throughout the day, embracing natural light.
