Maternity Wards

Holy Cross Hospital (now SJOG) Geelong. 1967, 69 & 72. It was just like that - babies kept in nursery and brought to the mums to be fed. Card with baby’s name to hold up at nursery window for visitors to see the baby. Great care kindness was shown. Strict visiting hours. I made a new life-time friend who was brought to the same ward. And the joy of being a mum to a new little baby
