Mass Pass!

A Catholic Priest was approached by a sad looking elderly man who said,
“Father, my beloved dog of 17 years has died.
I truly loved that dog and I’d like to have a funeral Mass for him.”
The Priest replied, “I am truly sorry for your loss but the Church
does not have funeral Masses for animals.”
The man asked, “Father, what should I do?” The kindly Priest replied,
“Maybe go to the Baptist or Methodist and see if they will have a service for your dog.”
The man said, “Thank you Father, I just loved that dog so much and
I wanted him to have a proper send-off. In fact I saved $10,000 to spend on a beautiful funeral for him.”
The Priest immediately said, “Now hold it right there,
you never said the dog was Catholic.”
