Making the Most of Seniors Card Benefits & Tracking GST Savings

I was thinking recently about how the Australia-wide Seniors Card varies so much in benefits depending on state/territory — some give great discounts for public transport, others for utilities or cultural activities. It can get confusing to track what you’re actually saving vs what you’re paying.

I’ve started using a simple online tool to help me estimate how different tax or fee changes affect my spending — particularly with GST, which sometimes feels invisible until the bill arrives.
