Macca’s brings back a classic favourite, but getting your hands on one might be harder than you think…
An Aussie summer would never be complete without indulging in some mouth-watering burgers by the beach, or some juicy snags on the barbie.
If you're looking for the perfect burger to gobble down while beating the summer heat, then look no further as McDonald's Aussie Angus Beef Burger has decided to make a comeback, just in time for summer!
No need to take a second look, folks! Macca's has recently announced that it will be relaunching the classic burger for a limited time, making it available in all McDonald's restaurants across Australia from January 12.

McDonald's Marketing Director Tim Kenward said that the fast food giant is looking forward to relaunching the burger as it is 'tailor-made for the Australian summer'.
So, what makes this burger perfect for the summer?
The burger is made with 100 percent Australian Angus Beef topped with Aussie Jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, beetroot and golden onion rings and is sandwiched between two soft buns that are lathered with an even amount of House Grill Sauce and Garlic Mayo.
The fast food chain also made some of its classic menu items — including Tim Tam McFlurry, Chicken Big Mac, Big Mac Bacon and Onion Rings with BBQ Sauce — available in their restaurants for the summer.
Macca's is really stepping up its summer range, partnering with the legends at Budgy Smuggler to launch its limited-edition swimwear line.

Unfortunately, the looming supply chain crisis and lack of staff due to COVID-19 infections have now affected Macca's, forcing the company to reduce its opening hours in multiple restaurants across Australia.
McDonald's confirmed that a high rate of absenteeism among its employees due to COVID-related 'staff isolation requirements' prompted some restaurants to open later and close earlier.
Some Aussies took to social media to report that one Macca's restaurant — a store in Blaxland in the Blue Mountains area of NSW which usually runs 24 hours — has posted a sign that read: "due to unforeseen circumstances trading hours are currently 6 am to 11 pm".

"We appreciate our customers' patience and understanding as we continue to prioritise health and safety during these times," a McDonald's spokesperson said.
It should be noted that Macca's rival, KFC, has also announced that they will be serving up a reduced menu due to supply chain issues. COVID-19 has begun to really hit where it hurts: our tradition of a late-night Macca’s run.
