Looks that kill on a budget! Kmart’s newly launched $35 outfit is flying off the shelves thanks to its chic style

Kmart's newly dropped $35 outfit is working way above its paygrade, and flying off shelves! Can you see why?

Aussie women from across the nation are swooning over the latest hot bit of clothing to hit Kmart hangers all over the country.

The $35 Knit Set — which consists of a $15 Drawstring Knit Shorts and $20 Polo Collar Knit Top — was praised for its chic style that rivals more expensive brands.

Fashionistas across the country have been snagging up the stylish outfit — which comes in two colours: Ecru White and black — and showing them off on social media.

TikTok user Islah Palmer, who runs the Kmart Fever fan account, said that the clothes were "super comfy" and had a luxury feel to them.

Islah said: “It’s made out of a soft knit material, I could literally sleep in it.”

“You’d expect to find it for at least $70 elsewhere.”

Additionally, the self-confessed "Kmart fan" suggested some ways on how you can style the outfit.

“You can also dress it up with a pair of mules or dress it down easily with sneakers,” she said.

The video showing how Islah styled the outfit has since been viewed more than 37,000 times, with many TikTok users commenting on how chic and expensive looking it was.

One person wrote: "Looks incredible."

“Adding to cart now,” another said, clearing out the shelves even further.

A third quipped: “So jealous! This hasn’t come to my Kmart yet.”

“It looks so boujee,” another added.

While some of the users claimed that their local stores don't sell the outfits, some said that the item is now "sold out" in their local stores.

A Kmart Australia spokesperson confirmed that the $35 Knit Set is proving to be a very popular item despite the fact that it's a new addition in their clothing range.

“Our new Knit Set is the perfect wardrobe staple to help transition our customers from Summer to winter. Offering a beautiful soft touch rib fabrication, customers are loving the combination of trend and comfort,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson also emphasised that customers love products that have "versatility", saying that the outfit is a "must-have" for those who like a "relaxed fit" thanks to its "soft drop shoulder" design.

“We know how much our customer loves versatility at Kmart so we created this set to take you from the couch to the beach or out for coffee all while looking and feeling great.”

And it seems like stock of this stylish outfit is selling out fast as the products are currently not available on Kmart’s website. If you’re keen on snagging this outfit, we encourage you to call your local store before heading in to purchase.
