Long lost “beneficiary”
This ridiculous nonsense arrived in my inbox today, see below. Apparently, my name cropped up as a beneficiary under their client’s insurance policy. At least it gave me a laugh! This is definitely one for the “Delete” button.

Dear,
My name is Barrister Bae Kee Hoon, the principal attorney at Bae Kee Hoon Partners, England, UK.It may surprise you to have received this letter from me since there has not been any previous correspondence between us. The reason is that after extensive search/research conducted with regards to my late client's extended relatives relating to his unclaimed permanent life insurance policy, your name came up as the possible extended relative and that was why I decided to communicate to you through this medium and for us to reason together towards the following assertion.
Please permit me to use your name to actualise the transaction of $7.5m. More details will be handed to you upon your positive reply.
Warmest Regards.
BAE KEE HOON
