If you’re looking for the perfect dessert to make this upcoming weekend, these Loaded Caramilk Easter Brownies are guaranteed to please – and sure to become a family favourite.
Here are the ingredients you need:
1. A 230g pkt of Cadbury Caramilk Easter Eggs
2. A cup of plain flour
3. 315g of caster sugar
4. 100g of brown sugar
5. 80g of cocoa powder
6. 180g of unsalted butter, melted, cooled slightly
7. 3 eggs, lightly whisked
8. A tsp of vanilla extract
9. Cadbury Caramel Eggs to decorate
10. Assorted chocolate eggs to decorate
11. Chocolate rabbits to decorate
First, preheat the oven to 160°C. Then, grease a 20cm square cake pan before lining it with baking paper. Allow the paper to hang slightly over the edges.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the flour, caster sugar, brown sugar, cocoa, butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix them thoroughly to combine. Add the chopped Caramilk eggs and gently fold them through.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan and pop it in the oven for 55 minutes or until crumbs cling to a skewer inserted into the centre. Set the pan aside and let it cool. After that, slowly remove the brownie from the pan.
Melt 55g (around 7 pieces) of the remaining Caramilk eggs in a heatproof bowl. Drizzle the melted Caramilk over the brownie and top with the remaining Caramilk eggs and assorted chocolates. Pop it in the fridge for a few hours until it’s set, and cut the brownies into pieces to serve. How sweet does this recipe sound, eh?
