Remember Life Education with Harold the giraffe? For some, the best part was lying back in the dark, staring at the ‘stars’ while learning about our bodies. Our eldest son attended this van in primary school, and he came home and told us he didn't have to do what we told him to. So our youngest son was not allowed to attend.

When my daughter was 4 the van visited her day care and she absolutely loved it. It was informative and age appropriate for little ones.

I remember the van well. As a teacher I was well acquainted with Harold and his healthy habits. Our school was close to the Life Education Centre so we often walked our classes there. I always admired the presenters for being able to understand the giraffean language as Harold whispered inaudibly into their ears.
