Lemon-Turmeric Roasted Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts
1 tbsp turmeric
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp lemon zest
2 cloves garlic
1 lemon, juiced
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

2. In a small bowl, mix all your spices to create your dry rub.

3. Chop up your garlic into small pieces/mince, and add to the spices.

4. Pat dry the chicken breasts with a paper towel, and then use the dry rub all across the chicken breasts until each is well covered.

5. Top with the lemon zest, juice and extra virgin olive oil.

6. Cover the chicken breasts and let sit in the fridge for a few hours before cooking if you have time.

7. Roast in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 to 30 mins, until cooked through and golden brown.


This recipe is sure to please everyone at the table. Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a salad for a complete meal.
