Emmy Rachelle showed thousands how it’s done and you’ll only need two common household items and an innovative cleaning tool – a dish wand with a built-in soap dispenser!

‘This is another hack that I found on TikTok that works,’ she said.

She starts by filling the handle of the dish wand halfway with dishwashing liquid, followed by vinegar.

The mum mentioned that she initially mixed the two ingredients in a spray bottle but found that the method was 'a waste of time'. But after putting the nifty dish wand to the test, she was blown away by how quick and easy it was to use.

'You can use this to clean the outer side of your shower glass. Just wipe it down with a towel or anything with microfibre and it comes up so clear,’ she can be heard explaining in the video.

The hack took TikTok by storm, amassing over 1.6 million views and hundreds of comments from users who hailed it as one of the best 'cleaning hacks' that they’ve come across by far.

‘I just cleaned my shower screens with the half vinegar and half dishwashing liquid solution. I scrubbed them with the green side of a sponge and rinsed the suds off with water. My mind is blown, it worked!’ a third shared.

‘I’ve been doing this for 10 years... It works the best compared to all of the other hacks I’ve seen out there!’ a fourth gushed.

However, one user warned: ‘Yes, I do this too! But I recommend using a non-scratch wand instead so it doesn’t scratch the shower glass.’

While another commented that only using dishwashing liquid is enough to achieve impressive results: ‘I do it without the vinegar and it works just as well!’

I use this want for my dishes it's good to use on really hot water but can be hard to clean edges and corners.

Yes I wash my dishes by hand I refuse to use a dishwasher . By the time you rinse them you can just about have them washed

Why not just clean as you go? I use an old plastic body loofah with a squirt of body wash on the glass screen then rinse it off. It adds approx 1 minute to my shower and the screen dries naturally, streak and grime free.

I do notice that she has a very modern shower cubicle. Not sure how well it would work on an old fashioned shower & tiles , but I’ll give it a try

Sounds like a good idea & so easy to do.

I doubt using a green scourer is going to scratch the glass because of the liquid used. I would venture to say fine steel wool could be used without damage. I use fine steel wool, dry to clean my mosaics which are glazed tiles without causing damage.
