"How to deep clean your fridge," she says in the video.

Chantel begins by removing all the items from her fridge, including the shelves, crisper, and fridge door.

Next, she pours one cup of water into a spray bottle followed by half a cup of white vinegar.

Then, Mama Mila reveals that she adds two teaspoons of vanilla extract into the mix to give it a nice sweet scent and to cancel out the smell of the vinegar.

The mix will not only disinfect your fridge but will also help deodorise the lingering smell inside.

Once the three liquids are mixed, Mama Mila sprays the solution on the fridge compartment before wiping away grime using a sponge.

"This mix is powerful at cutting through spills and stuck-on mess," she says.

The claim is actually true as acetic acid found in white vinegar acts as a cleaning and disinfecting agent against grease, grime, and dirt, while the small amount of alcohol in the vanilla extract can cut through grime while leaving a nice scent.

The mum finishes the process by re-organising and placing all of the items back into the fridge.
