Kylie Minogue takes a look at the future and is ready to return home to Australia

Pop superstar and national treasure Kylie Minogue, 53, has decided to make a permanent return to the Land Down Under after three decades of living in the UK.
The decision comes almost six months after the singer attended the private funeral and state memorial of music legend and long-time friend Michael Gudinski.

Being stranded in Australia due to COVID travel restrictions reportedly gave her time to pause and reflect on where she wants to be heading. Sources say that Kylie doesn't necessarily anticipate this to be a permanent change as she has never been the kind of artist to stay in one place for a long time.
“After a weekend of looking at the past I’m taking a second look to the future,” the Disco singer tweeted last Monday night.
Recent documents show that Minogue has also changed the service and residential address for her main businesses to Hawthorn, an inner suburb just east of Melbourne.
The rest of the star’s family ⏤ parents Carol and Ron, brother Brendan, sister Danii, and nephew Ethan ⏤ also currently live in Australia, and are major factors in her decision. Sources say that she ‘wants to see more of her family in the times when she isn’t travelling, and so she will use Australia as her base.’

On a podcast last year, the popstar said that a move to Australia would be unlikely as her long-term boyfriend Paul Solomons does not find the idea appealing. Although there is no word yet if the Welshman will join the move to Oz, more recent reports say that he quit his job in London last month to allow him to spend more time with Kylie in Australia.
As of this moment, the couple are in London together as Kylie prepares to release new music. The precise date for her move back to Australia remains unknown.
