Kmart has recently released its latest home living range, delighting shoppers and interior design enthusiasts who are on the lookout for some budget-friendly upgrades for their homes.

The new collection includes a new kitchen, bedding, and outdoor items designed by in-house Kmart designers in Melbourne.

The range is inspired by the country's flora and fauna, featuring items with natural colours and textures.


One of the new items that everyone is raving about is the Smart Wi-Fi LED Sunset Light — a colour-changing lamp that can mimic different shades of natural lighting including sunny afternoons and golden sunsets.

The $25 lamp allows users to operate it using their phones through Wi-Fi enabled technology.

Satisfied shoppers took to social media to share their excellent experiences using the exciting item.

TikTok user @biancalemos_ posted a video, sharing her experience with the product.



The video, which has gained more than 1.8 million views, shows the lamp transforming Bianca's room with various warm and cool tones.

While other models of colour-changing lamps are being retailed in other stores, Kmart's model is one of the most affordable on the market.


Many Kmart fans predicted that the lamp would soon be “sold out” due to its rapidly increasing popularity.

One person jokingly asked: “Can you not share this with the whole world?”

“Another thing that Kmart will already be sold out of agh,” another added.

A third chimed in: “I got one yesterday, I had to ask for one because they weren’t even on the shelves yet! I love it.”

“No one goes to Kmart until I get one, I swear to god I will go combat mode,” another quipped.

Other items in Kmart's new release include a $79 rattan coffee table, a $19 banksia framed canvas, and jade cushions for $8.50.


Kmart Divisional Merchandise Manager Meryn Serong said that the new range is specifically designed to complement the retailer's previous living collections.

Ms Serong said: “We strive to continue to offer our customers newness and keep them up to date with the latest trends, whilst still allowing them to be able to build on their existing homewares and purchase with a purpose.”
