Kmart released a ‘must-have’ $25 floral dress – and it’s getting rave reviews!

Kmart's latest release is already getting rave reviews from fashion bloggers and we can see why! The floral pattern is perfectly eye-catching with a dash of sophistication.

So, if you love floral prints and want to get a versatile piece that can be dressed up or dressed down, now's the perfect time to head to your nearest Kmart!

The Kmart dress that's making its way up the fashion ladder is called the Short Sleeve Square Neck Dress. It has a square neck with encased elastic, short voluminous sleeves, bagged out front bodice, shirred bodice detail at the back and an empire waistline.

It also features a white-based design with pink and yellow watercolour flowers on it. The dress is currently available in sizes 6 to 20, and can be yours for just $25!

Social media users such as Lisa Galanopoulos, @fashionably_amy, and Sarah Strozkiy, who shares style tips on her TikTok account @shessoseasonal, were among the first wave of fashion bloggers who promoted the dress.

In Lisa's video, she showed off the garment while she was in a dressing room.

‘How pretty is the first dress?’ She captioned in her post, before adding a style tip for those who are on the petite side.

‘It would also look better belted for people who are shorter,’ she wrote.

Meanwhile, Amy (@fashionably_amy) matched the dress with a pair of white sneakers, a white crossbody bag, and a white shacket – which is a shirt that is similar to a jacket.

Her choice to pair the dress with white colours (shacket, bag, and shoes) works well since white is easy on the eyes, and doesn’t ‘drown out’ the floral pattern.

Amy’s outfit would look great for a casual day out with friends or family, or at a picnic in the park.

‘Casual @kmartaus summer outfit,’ Amy wrote in her post.

Sarah Strozkiy, on the other hand, put together a cute outfit by pairing the dress with a pink belt, a tan wide-brim hat, and various other tan accessories. She gave the look a youthful vibe by wearing open-toed heels.

While Amy’s style choice is for casual events, Sarah’s is perfect for late-afternoon drinks with friends. And because the dress stops slightly above the knee, it’s modest enough for semi-formal dinners with family.

Her choice of open-toed heels also lengthens her legs, giving a symmetrical and polished look to her outfit. The belt accentuates the dress’ structure and blends seamlessly with the floral pattern.

Just like Amy, Sarah opted to accessorise using a solid colour: tan. Since the dress is attention-grabbing enough, the trick to styling this Kmart find is to choose colours that won’t draw attention away from the pattern, or drown out the design.

Social media users took to the comment sections to express their love for the dress.

‘Ohhhh so beautiful Lisa, the dress is so pretty! Love it on you,’ one person commented on Lisa’s video.

Another wrote: ‘You are fire on all levels’ in Amy’s comments section. Another added: ‘Give me anything floral! Beautiful shacket too.’

‘This looks good on you!’ One wrote under Sarah’s video.

A spokesperson for Kmart told reporters that the dress landed in their stores in January, and was immediately one of their ‘hero’ prints.

‘Super comfy with the shirred back bodice detail. Currently available in all states and has been incredibly popular with our customers!’ They added.

Another Kmart find that had shoppers ‘raving’ online is this pair of relaxed jeans that can be styled to suit almost any occasion! It was first brought to the public’s attention by Aussie fashion blogger Genevieve, who took to TikTok to show her followers how to style the versatile item. See how she did it here.

These dresses are very nice if you're young but not for those in 60's and 70's but for the mature age, no. I bought two lovely dresses from www.healthpride.com.au brochure number HP133 I received in the mail and they certainly do make clothes for our age! Beautifully made and past our knees! There is another brochure called Innovations and so many others I receive if you can afford them. They do have special sales from time to time.

They're lovely - if you're slim. Wishful thinking
They will actually suit most shapes and sizes.
They are loose but not full .

Bigger women can dress beautifully and actually look slimmer by not wearing such loose garments.
Eg alot if larger women will wear dresses cutting from the waist so typically an Aline which will give a smaller waist but will make hips look huge.

Slim line like those I posted will give a larger woman great shape yet comfort
