Oh, Kingswood Country! That Aussie classic brought so many laughs to our living rooms back in the day. Ted Bullpit's classic lines about his beloved Kingswood and the timeless ‘Don’t “Dad” me, I'm your father!’ moments were pure gold. Who else misses those witty one-liners and the charm of Ted Bullpit? Share your favourite Kingswood Country moments in the comments below.

"Put your money on the fridge" is still in use in our family. Pity we have lost so many of the one-liners due to political correctness.

A friends father had KINGSWOOD and occasionally we were allowed as 18 - 19 year girls allowed to take it out at night. The car was inspected each time for damage. Not even once, we were both too scared of the reaction.

Ted used to give the poor son in law Bruno a hard time and scathingly said "you've dropped purple Valiant rust all over the drive way.!" Every day when he came home from work his darling wife Thel would ask how his day was and it was always "a bloody shambles of course!"

Great old time shows, I’m sure a lot of them wouldn’t be allowed to air these days as wouldn’t be politically correct, might offend someone and cause them to have a mental breakdown or commit a crime because they took offence to something said on the show. Saying that, we have most of these old shows on video or DVD and watch them from time to time and our grandkids enjoy them as well.

Loved Kingswood Country back in the day! As others have posted.. I also loved leave the money on the fridge and Kingswood, you're not taking the Kingswood ect! Thel was very 'thick' at times...some great one liners and we all had a great laugh! A real classic...they don't make em like this anymore. Fond memories watching this with my parents.
