It's always fascinating to get a peek at what the Royal Family gets up to in their downtime.
Just recently, a group of Scottish mountain bikers were left gobsmacked by their unexpected encounter with none other than King Charles.
The extraordinary event unfolded on Balmoral Estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
In a surreal turn of events captured on footage, one of the cyclists can be heard jesting about spotting a 'minor royal' as they spotted several passing Land Rovers.
One chimed in, 'I don't care for the royals, but it would be cool to see Charlie.'

As if on cue, King Charles appeared shortly after.
Several clues led them beforehand to assume King Charles' presence.
'I think Charlie by is here because there [are] guards down there with big assault rifles and stuff like that—it looks pretty cool,' one cyclist said.
It turns out that King Charles—wearing a hiking jacket, a flat cap, and relying on a trekking stick for support—was on a hiking adventure in Scotland's picturesque countryside.
He indulged himself in a conversation with the amazed cyclists and shared with them his sentiments on his holiday: 'It is wonderful up here.'
He added: 'The midges are horrendous, [but] I like my walking.'
The King also shared how he used to camp in the area with the late Prince Philip (his father) and Princess Anne (his sister).
Before parting with the group, the King said: 'Take care. Don’t fall off.'
The video was uploaded on a social media site and was reportedly shot last August 25, around the time the King and Queen Consort Camilla were on their annual break in Balmoral.
Andrew McAvoy, one of the cyclists, described their encounter with the King as 'pretty cool'.
'What a nice man, lovely man. [He] had time for us,' he said in the video.
'All I can think of [is] I wish I met the Queen now.'

The Balmoral Estate in Scotland is a known favourite of the royals.
The late Queen Elizabeth II had spent multiple summer breaks in the estate enjoying the tranquil, picturesque property with other family members.
She passed away at age 96 just a year ago at the Balmoral Castle.
In other news, one long-standing tradition of The Royal Family has come to an abrupt end.
Due to a recent change in ownership, The Royal Family—at least, for the time being—is no longer allowed on the 4,654-hectare Abergeldie estate near Balmoral Castle which they had been using to fish, deer stalk, and hunt during their free time.
It was reported that a 70-year-old man named Alastair Storey purchased the estate for a whopping $44.7 million and has ended the royal lease, with plans to use the estate for commercial shooting.
