Jumping Crocodiles

The Adelaide River, near Darwin, is the home of the famous jumping crocodiles.
Here is a shot of a large salty jumping for meat off a pole from our boat.
A graphic reminder to keep arms and legs inside the boat!

This made my skin tingle! Looks so scary but majestic at the same time. Reptiles always blow my mind.

We the human race are a bit slow. It's not enough that the Crocs chase after us to munch on. Now we have decided to teach them to jump into boats so they have 2 ways of munching on us. I have seen these Crocs jump for food on the Adelaide River cruise and realised how very long/big they can get.
