I received this email today from Booking.com (I don't have an account with them). Interestingly it expired today.

That's so odd... Definitely a scam. I hope the members who are frequent travellers can see this. It's quite concerning as booking.com is a really popular website among travellers. I use it too!

Just read the first few lines, scam written all over it.

Why do people even open emails that are so obviously scam based on the first few words or the sender? I block dozens of them every day without looking at them.

The headings of a few of today's scam emails "The key to a comfortable retirement" , "You have won a Prestige beard and hair trimmer", "Over $20k in credit debt - we can help", See how you can help your family in case something happens", "Welcome to affordable life insurance policies", "Get the funds you need by tomorrow" All of these emails will be blocked without opening as they have scam written all over them.

I get dozens of scams daily, even had the bitcoin scammer threatening and sending google docs. I do not even bother to open as it is obviously a scam. Scammers buy email lists and send out. If you do not know who sent it, do not click or reply. Just block. Simple
