Incredible meal prep lasts for MONTHS – perfect for (grand)mums on the go!

We've already shared the benefits of preparing your meals ahead of time and freezing them.

Having several stocks of pre-prepared meals in your freezer not only saves you the time and hassle of preparing throughout the week, but it should also allow you to save money since you’ll be able to buy in bulk.

Many parents have embraced this method so that they can allot their extra time to things that are more important – such as spending time with their family (instead of just cooking for them!).

And while we understand that many of our members are probably no longer in charge of preparing lunches for the grandkids at school, we think that sharing this one mum’s meal-prep hack is still a wonderful idea.

Here’s how she did it!

One mum from QLD has inspired hundreds of fellow parents with her amazing lunchbox snack meal-prep for her son that lasts up to several months.

On a popular Facebook group, Eve from Brisbane shared photos of how she prepared several servings of ham and cheese croissants and miniature pizzas for her kid’s school snack, or whenever he needed a quick meal at home.

She places each meal into individual Ziplock bags then pops them into the freezer. Now whenever she needs one, all she has to do is to let the snacks defrost and then cook them in the air fryer.

For the pizzas, just let them cook in the air fryer for 12 minutes at 130 degrees Celsius and they’re done. For the croissants, 6 minutes at 120 degrees Celsius. Raising the temperature more than that will “burn your bread” before the cheese even melts, warns Eve.

The mum also revealed that she used fairly common supermarket products for the meals, and her pizza bases were bought from Woolies.

Several fellow mums on the Facebook group quickly praised Eve for the “genius” hack, saying that this would save them a lot of time in the kitchen!

So! For all those who hv not bought bulky bench-space gobbling AirFryers, just cook in a sandwich press. If no sandwich press, very lightly spray w "canned" olive oil and use frypan, but squash item with spatula as it cooks.

I'm not sure why you would want to bulk prepare mini pizzas as they only take a minute to make and are a fun things for kids to do. I'm sure they taste better fresh made too.:)
Ricci, I can see how it's a great idea for busy Mum's and Grandies, even great for
Grandies snacks! Good one Eve. :)
