In the early 1970's I went to Bolton Technical College Fred Dibnah lived not far away. I watched Fred demolish factory chimneys, we used any of the brick as foundations for buildings on the farm. Was that Royal or Merchant navy. I did quite a bit of work on Blue Port Star Line and ACT 1-2-3 ships in Wellington Harbour New Zealand mid late 70's. R U in WA Luckyus?That used to be my trade before I went to sea.
No Vic, and Merchant, Act! scene2 and 3, the original act 3 became the I think the Australian Endeavour. The act 4 then became the act 3 and so on. An English crew took over from a West Indian crew the act 3 in St John Newfoundland, by the by it was bloody filthy took us ages and plenty of overtime to clean it up, mind they did leave a good bit of weed!! so all was forgiven?Was that Royal or Merchant navy.
