Hula Hoop Craze​

Who remembers the late 50s Hula Hoop craze that swept Australia like a tidal wave? Manufacturers of the hoops were unable to keep up with the demand. What was even more incredible is that in only four months, an American company had sold a whopping 25 million hoops worldwide! Did you have a Hula Hoop? If you did, you know just how addictively fun it was!

Yes, I had a hula hoop. I was probably10.
It was so easy then. In later years, when I have tried, I cannot keep the hoop around my waist.
It is far from easy now.
