Prepare the soul first while the sprouting is happening you cal also add handful cow manure to the pot or if to go in the ground add whole bag mix into the soil fe days before planting, turn soil over again than plant give it a water, in summer remember to water after 4 otherwise water evaporate with the heat.

Don't throw away sprouting onions plant it...you have shallots.
