How to rejuvenate your old laminate benchtops in the kitchen

My laminate benchtops are very old and the surface does not exist, consequently, they are very porous and stain very badly.

Here's how to rejuvenate them.

Make a paste out of bi-card soda. Spread it liberally over your benchtops (for parts that a stained either use a toothbrush or soft nail brush give them a light scrub still leaving the paste on them). Leave on overnight.

The next day remove the bi-card soda making sure there is no residue left. Make sure the benchtops are completely dry.

Use car polish on the benchtops and allow to dry. Once dry, polish off.

Voila, your benchtops have been rejuvenated, and nice and shiny.
