How to make HEALTHY Tiramisu at home: “Delicious and SO healthy!”

Weet-Bix has been a part of our mornings for more than 100 years, and has got to be one of the most iconic Australian foods ever (along with vegemite, meat pies, and sausage rolls). But did you know that the humble Weet-Bix is more than just a breakfast food?

Although commonly eaten with a sprinkle of sugar on top and a splash of milk, there’s another way to eat Weet-bix. That’s right, you know where we’re going with this—in a tiramisu. We’re just as surprised as you are!

Our breakfast staple has recently gone the rounds on TikTok as the star ingredient of a scrumptious new recipe that puts a twist on the well-loved Italian dessert. Guess what? It’s also only 315 calories.

TikTok user Clean_Treats (also known by her first name, Madison) accumulated nearly 50,000 followers for her hassle-free, healthy, and delicious recipes consisting of only a handful of ingredients.

She has previously shared healthy versions of pecan pie, blueberry muffins, and even KFC chicken tenders! This time around, she made a Tiramisu with Weet-Bix which only has 6 grams of fat, 31 grams of carbs, and 30 grams of protein.

To make the dish, she starts by crushing two Weet-Bix in a glass container. She then adds a tablespoon of instant coffee, a tablespoon of sweetener, and 100-125 millilitres of boiling water. She mixes it together and then smooths it out to serve as the Tiramisu’s base.

The ingredients can be switched out with alternatives that match your preferences. You can replace the boiling water with almond milk or opt to dust some sugar-free drinking chocolate powder or cacao onto the base for an extra chocolatey taste.

She follows the base recipe with one for the cream: 130 grams of vanilla yoghurt, 30 grams of light cream cheese, 15 grams of vanilla protein, and 1 tablespoon of any sweetener into a bowl.

Mix all the ingredients together and evenly spread the cream onto the Weet-Bix base. Finish it all off by dusting it with cacao or sugar-free drinking chocolate powder and it’s ready to be popped into the fridge.

The final step? Eating it guilt-free.

With only seven ingredients and the simplest of steps, Madison’s video went viral and received over 30,000 views and 3,500 likes. People adore her recipe and are sharing their thoughts on it down her video’s comment section.

“I made it and can approve its amazing” one user wrote.

“what.... that's ALL?? that looks so easy” another commented.
