Hot Pants

Have you ever worn Hot Pants? They were all the rage back in the day, paired with long lace-up boots—a daring fashion statement of the '70s.

My sister wore hot pants and as I was a good bit younger than her(9 yrs younger) I admired her outfits and begged my Mum to make me a pair! I was 11 or 12 with skinny long legs and waist length hair, and loved my hot paints! They were maroon with pink flowers and a long sleeve pink blouse underneath. I thought I was pretty cool haha!

What about Witches Britches does anyone remember them Lol I remember having a racey red pair with white lace frills up the leg with black ribbon laced through

Lol, yes my cousin gave me a pair of witches britches. Mine were white with lace. My sister also wore mini hoppers.. like long loose shorts with matching top. Plus culottes with matching mid drift top and of course the good old mini skirts!

Loved my witches britches, though had forgotten about them. Mine were pink with black lace but they did keep you warm. I had culottes & lived in mini skirts. We all thought we looked so cool, but mum was horrified sometimes. We really shouldn’t complain about today’s fashions should we? Though I would not have embraced todays totally see through look, my parents would’ve disowned me. It’s not over flattering anyway.
