This healthy, low carb, and nutrient-rich Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon is the perfect meal for any night in. It’s a quick recipe that’s easy to make and is packed with flavour.
Ingredients:
Salmon fillets (usually 1 fillet per person, the recipe is made for 2 people)
2 tablespoons of Honey
2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced (But if you love garlic, you can add more)
3cm of fresh ginger, chopped
1-2 spring onions
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
2 tablespoons of sesame oil
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, garlic, ginger, spring onion, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
3. Place salmon fillets in a baking dish, and pour the honey garlic glaze over top.
4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
5. Serve immediately.
Enjoy the salmon with a side salad, or if you're a little hungry and are after some carbs, a few potatoes in olive oil, salt, and pepper, baked, go really well too!
