Holdem Or Foldem!

It’s 10pm when the phone rings in Dr. Stein's house.
"It’s Dr. Gold," says his wife, passing him the phone,
"I do hope it’s not another emergency."
Dr. Stein takes the phone and says, "Hi, what’s up?"
"Don’t worry, everything’s OK," replies Dr. Gold.
"It’s just that I’m at home with Dr. Lewis and Dr. Kosiner.
We’re having a little game of poker and we’re short of one
hand so we thought you might like to come over and join us?"
"Sure .... yes, of course," replies Dr. Stein, putting on a serious voice,
"I’m leaving right now." And he puts down the phone.
"What’s happened?" his wife asks, with a worried look.
"It’s very serious," Dr. Stein replies. "They’ve already called three doctors."

Brain is slow today. I just realised that the last line was an alibi.

Sleep deprived. I went to sleep at 4.30 am yesterday morning with 5 hours sleep then probably 6 hours sleep last night. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Ok !!!! 😄
I'm commonly up until 1am or 2am most nights and start to wake up again around 5.30am or so. If l sleep in, l will get up around 7.15am.
Mind you, I might have an afternoon nap for an hour or so but not today. I have been building a small decking for my daughter over the last couple of weeks and today I put the balustrade and top on. Job finished. She just needs to paint it 😊

Sorry but I'm observant (LOL) and I notice people's posting times. Some of you are real night owls!

Ahhh! Memories of home improvement. Had everything from welders to an electric concrete mixer, an air compressor to impact drivers. All gone thanks to some arsewipes lifting the whole lot. My greatest pain was pop rivet guns. Bugger! Can't find it so off to Bunnings I go to buy a new one. I ended up with no less than six of the things!

Every size socket, open end and ring spanners from 4 mm to 32 mm, plus the imperial equivalents. Every conceivable screwdriver, sanders, angle grinders, jigsaws, drills, you name it! Strangely enough, I never got around to buying one thing....a router!
