In today’s musings, I’m reflecting on hobbies. We often say we’ll pick up those joyful activities ‘when we have more time’.

Why wait, I say! Whether gardening, painting, or dusting off the old guitar, let’s make a pact to dive into our hobbies this week. If you’ve picked up something new or revisited an old pastime, I’d love to hear about it!

I continue to enjoy spinning (as in producing yarn); have recently acquired an electric spinner which is very efficient and also light and easy to carry around.

That's awesome! That sounds like such a unique and fun hobby. Have you created anything special with the yarn you've produced using the new electric spinner?

It's really just getting back to reading for me. It's been such a long time since I read a book that it all feels new to me at this point

Well, you got me. Technically not this week, but I'm halfway through one April recommended to me (just where things get interesting): The Secret History by Donna Tartt!

I started crocheting again this week. I’ve done very little since before Christmas so decided it’s time. I’m making a baby blanket for a great niece & will post photos when it’s finished.
