Hi, my name is Barry McElligott. Live in Mareeba Far North Queensland. Married to a Beautiful Chinese lady.​

I am just about 65 and still working a bit. Have to keep the body and mind active, just recently taken up lawn bowls again. have not played for about 30 years, a lot has changed, looking forward to the challenge. Previously employed as a Prison Officer 25 years, just over a life sentence. 15 years as a firefighter, 13 years in the Queensland Railways as a linesman (Communications and power), and a few after and in between jobs. Enjoy gardening, tinkering, fishing, visiting historic sites, and spending time with my Grand Children. I have been a volunteer, for the majority of my life. 20 years as a Scout Leader and other various roles in the Scouting Movement. A member of the local Ambulance Committe. A member of the Local Crimestoppers. A member of the Chinese temple in Atherton. In my spare time, I look after the house, as my wife has a bad back. Looking forward to a long membership of the Seniors Discount Club, and getting to know new people along the way.
