Here’s another favourite

Hawaiian Steak Casserole

1kg blade steak( or your choice of meat)
1can 440gr pineapple pieces
3 tbl spoons plain flour
2tsp of dried mustard note
2tbl spoons butter
2tbl spoons vinegar
1/4 tsp nutmeg and pepper
1 large onion
2cups of stock or water
1tbl spoon of chopped parsley
Cut steak into 5 cm pieces,mix dry ingredients together, coat steak throughly with mixture, brown lightly in butter in a heavy pan,remove meat, add sliced onion and balance of flour mixture ,allow to brown,stir in stock and vinegar and continue stirring gravy boils return meat and pineapple pieces. Turn into an ovenware dish and cook in moderate oven until meat is tender, serve with boiled rice and jacket potatoes .

Note I used 1 1/2 teaspoons of curry powder instead of mustard ( my taste )
And served with mash potato and peas.
