I worked with a client once whose dog became addicted to the clients medications. It took months working closely with the doctors and the vet to get the situation resolved.

Wouldn't happen in our household, the dogs won't touch any drugs, chewable or otherwise. We even grated up the chewable one and gave it to them in their food, I swear they licked every morsel of food around the medication and left all the grated stuff in their bowls. I'm going back to flea and tick collars.

Cats are the same it’s because their sense of smell is so great I put the liquid stuff on the back of my cats neck, as for flea collars I have no hope in hell of getting one of those on him. I value my life

Nope tried the liquid, one is a malamute and the other is a husky, just getting done to their skin is a nightmare; not to mention keeping them still long enough to do it.

Years ago, my friend had a puppy called Misty who ingested a considerable amount of hashish. For the next six hours, it was trying to climb the walls, jumping on furniture and destroying the kitchen bench.

When she came down, she was not quite right, acting like she was on another planet. My mate promptly renamed her "Moondog"!
