Has anyone else had messages supposedly from Medibank?

The messages are about supposed refunds that are available through the My Gov portal. Seem suspicious to me with the usual warning that the refund is disappearing.

Please do not follow any link on any email. Go direct to the source - says she who always clicks on links in the SDC email🤪

Medibank are giving refunds from Covid savings but a previous email claimed they would refund to the usual payment method.
DO NOT click on any links, ever.

Medicare..This one's been going on for some time ..I mentioned it a cpl months ago..it asked for a card number( credit card) that was too obvious as I know they would never ask for a credit card number..it's such a disappointment that our new technologies allow for more scams than ever and the general public are the major recipients of all this stuff and the government can't deal with it..and I imagine they don't want to as it would cost them too much personally to monitor and stop all this ..it would interfere with their pay rises ..lol..we can't have that can we..

Medicare for me was a cpl months ago..but mine asked for a debit or credit card..knew was dud then..they do not ask for cards up front ever..

If you have a My Gov account & you have linked your Medicare to it, then just go to your account and check for messages. If there's no messages on there from Medicare then it's a scam. Delete it!!

You can always put in a dud Medicare number ansd let them waste a bit of time adding it to their list of scam contacts, but block and delete the email straight away. How sweet would it be if everybody adopted this way of getting back at them, no matter how small a start it is ...

The message I got is different. If I stick to my current cover until the end of September, I will receive $100 directly in my (already) nominated a/c at the end of October. It's real because I've received a refund from them before.
