If you’ve got some stain-filled sneakers laying around, don’t shell out your hard-earned money to replace them just yet. One mum completely transformed her dirty, stained sneakers with a $1.95 ‘miracle’ stain remover from Aldi – and it’s so effective that the end result will shock you!
She doused her filthy Adidas running shoes in Di-San Pre-Wash spray and let the cleaning solution soak in for about an hour before popping them in the washing machine on a regular spin cycle.
Impressed by the outcome, she took to a household budgeting group on Facebook to boast how well the spray had turned the shoes’ fabric from a grim-looking grey to pristine white.

Several users vouched for the spray’s efficacy in cleaning other household items too, claiming that it works like magic and leaves carpets, shower glass, kitchen counters, splash-backs, ovens, and various household surfaces spotless.
“This stuff is amazing. I sprayed it on my daughter's highchair straps which were stained with chocolate and custard… I let them sit for five minutes and then threw them in the wash. They came out looking brand new,” one woman said.
Another added that a single spray of the solution is sufficient to banish stubborn grease stains on range hood filters– no scrubbing required.
“No soaking, no scrubbing, no dishwasher. I wish I tried this long ago. My range hood is now sparkling.” a user wrote.

A third said she had been using the 'awesome' multi-purpose spray to clean her entire house for a couple of months now, while a fourth claimed it lifted stains from the seats in her car.
“They look like new again!” she said.
But several brought up how the spray damaged their clothes and footwear.
One woman shared a photo of chunky Nike sneakers with the material worn away around the edges. She said the fabric began to peel away after she sprayed it with Di-San.
A chef agreed, saying the product had eaten through patches of her white uniform, leaving it threadbare.
Others warned that the spray shouldn't be used on leather, rubber or plastic because of the abrasive chemicals it contains that may inevitably dissolve the materials mentioned.
