Gypsies and the Pearly gates
40 Gypsies turn up to the pearly gates in their Transits and trailers and caravans ..
St Peter goes to his gate house and phones up God and says,
"I've got 40 Gypos here and they want to come in".
God tells him that there are already loads in heaven so they can choose the 12 most deserving cases and that's all he can allow.
St Peter goes away and then a couple of minutes later returns to the phone to speak to God..
They've gone" he reports. "What ALL 40 of them ?" asks God. "Yep" says St Peter,".and the gates"
