Grandkids Slang: 'Skrrt'
Don't be lost on all the new lingo of the younger generation. We'll help you dissect what they mean and have fun while doing it! For today's ‘What Would The Grandkids Say?’ segment, we're tackling the term ‘Skrrt’. This mimics the sound of screeching tyres and is used when someone is suddenly leaving, changing topics, or avoiding a situation. For example, if you're feeling tired and want to go to bed, you can tell your family: ‘I'll be hitting the sack now, skrrt.’ What about you? How would you use 'skrrt' in everyday life? Share it in this thread.
