Grandkids Slang: 'salty'

For today's ‘What Would The Grandkids Say?’ segment, we're tackling the term ‘salty’. It means to feel jealous or upset. For example, missing out on a good bargain might leave you feeling salty. I'd use 'salty' to describe food to which too much salt or salt derivatives had been added. eg too much fish sauce, msg, table salt

Watching someone eat cream cakes and other treats when you have diabetes and cannot indulge.
 
To describe food with too much salt added or the residue left on your skin after swimming in the sea.

Tears are salty,person who grumbles a lot could be known as "salty" an old seaman could be known as an "an old salty".
