Getting into the Easter spirit? One Melbourne-based content creator showed how you can impress your friends, family members, or simply yourself with a beautiful table setting that won’t hurt your wallet!

Product stylist and influencer, Lauren, shared images of her stunning tablescape on various social media platforms, impressing thousands of users.

"Sharing some snaps from my Easter tablescape and others from around my home!" she captioned her post.

The table decor featured a cream vase in the centre, housing a bouquet of fresh flowers that perfectly matched the colour of the pink platter beneath it. Lauren cleverly added a splash of gold throughout the setting by incorporating gold candlestick holders, cutlery, and napkin rings.

Then, she nested Easter-themed side plates from Kmart atop plain white ones and arranged them next to Easter glasses, which were also purchased from the retail giant.

She tops it all off with chic floral napkins from Target held in place with the gold Easter rings, which also came from Target.

The elements in Lauren’s table setting blended well, as she delicately played with incorporating the appropriate colours together and equally mixing them throughout the scene.

“So so beautiful! The colours look so perfect.” said one user.

“Absolutely gorgeous!!!” chimed in another.

“Just stunning and so pretty. All your pieces are so beautifully balanced.” a third praised.

While the most pricey items in Lauren’s tablescape are the cutlery, tray, and candle holders, there’s no shortage of affordable alternatives online - you can even use what you already have!

It’s always best to review your own collection first before going on a full-blown shopping spree. That way, you can save a few bucks and only get your hands on a few signature pieces that you really need.

For budget dining ranges, Kmart sells a pack of three Easter-themed side plates for $9, four-pack of glasses that retails at $8, and a set of two side bowls for $7. You can also spot an endless array of trays and vases at Kmart to use in your table display.

They're telling us how to save a few bucks, I could tell them how to save a whole lot!! What is this rubbish that we have to theme our table settings? They sure are scraping the bottom of the barrel in finding ways to entice us to part with our hard earned. With the cost of living going through the roof I think articles like these are a little tone deaf.
