125gm butter
1egg
1/2 cup castor sugar
1cup self raising flour

1cup crushed cornflakes
1tablespoon golden syrup
Handful crushed almonds
1teaspoon vanilla essence
Cream together the butter and sugar
Add the egg and vanilla essence and beat together
Sift in the flour
Add the cornflakes,nuts and golden syrup mix well
Put teaspoons of the mixture on to a well greased oven tray,allowing room for spreading.
Bake in a moderate oven 150 to 180 deg not fan
forced for 15 minutes.
Loosen on tray and allow to cool
Enjoy
