Originally launched in the UK back in July 2022, this hot new collection has been causing a stir among KFC fans worldwide, with many expressing their excitement on social media.

Fans of the fast-food chain have been raving about the collection, with one Twitter user confessing, 'I never knew I needed KFC merch until now,' while another tweeted, 'I can't wait to get my hands on some of this stuff!' And we can't blame them, because this new range is surprisingly stylish.

But here's the best part: profits from the sales of this merch will go towards supporting Aussie youth's mental well-being through the KFC Youth Foundation and its charity partners, including the Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia, and Whitelion.

So, not only can you look good in your new KFC outfit, but you can feel good knowing that you're supporting a great cause.

The launch comes as KFC continues to expand its brand beyond traditional fast-food offerings. Credit: kfcmerchstore.com.au.

This isn't the first time KFC has spread their wings beyond the fast-food industry. They've previously released a range of scented candles and even a KFC-themed dating simulator game in international markets. Talk about taking things up a notch!

According to KFC Australia's Chief Marketing Officer, Sally Spriggs, 'We're so excited to put KFC on the runway ahead of Sydney Fashion Week and even more thrilled to answer the call from our fans to bring this iconic range of merchandise to Australia.'

Key Takeaways

  • KFC has launched a new range of fashion merchandise featuring their signature red and white stripes inspired by their iconic bucket, with prices ranging from $20 to $90.
  • This latest move expands the brand beyond its traditional fast-food offerings and follows previous ventures such as a range of scented candles and a KFC-themed dating simulator game.
  • Profits from sales will support Aussie youth's mental well-being through the KFC Youth Foundation, and the collection is available exclusively through KFC's Australian merch store.

KFC's new fashion merchandise line is definitely an unexpected move, but one that's sure to catch the attention of fans and fashionistas alike.

Now, let's talk about the prices of the merchandise. While these stylish pieces may make a bold statement, they might also make your wallet cluck in protest.

With socks starting at $20 and the varsity jacket soaring up to $90, it's clear that these prices are geared towards die-hard fans who are willing to fork out some extra cash for these collectors' items.

So, while the prices of the fashion collection may not be the Colonel's secret recipe for budget-friendly shopping, let's remember that it's all about finding what tickles your taste buds and tickles your wallet too.

In December, Red Rooster released a range of ‘Street Food’ merch, including t-shirts, an adult onesie, a retro cooler, and a unique one-piece swimsuit. Credit: Red Rooster.

Fast-food chains are breaking the mould and venturing into the fashion world, and Red Rooster is no exception. Just last year, the popular Aussie restaurant chain unleashed its latest merch collection, aptly named 'Street Food', and it's a feast for the eyes.

Drawing inspiration from vibrant street art, this collection took Red Rooster's fan-favourite food items and incorporated them into trendy designs that were sure to turn heads. Burgers, chips, cheesy nuggets, pineapple fritters, and their famous fried chicken came to life in the form of eye-catching illustrations.

The best part is, just like KFC, Red Rooster's merch collection was also for a good cause. Portions of the profits are donated to Foodbank Australia, helping to feed those in need.

They would need to pay me for advertising their product not me pay them for the merchandise!

Don’t see this taking off, maybe young people might like to be called Kentucky fried, or KFC, but more mature sensible people won’t. They should stick to fast food.

No thanks and as far as I am concerned KFC is Kentucky Fried Chuck - give it a try about every 10 years to see if it has improved and have had negative results every time.
