Gardening on a budget? ALDI just slashed $50 off this must-have lawn mower and more!

Ah, why does it always feel like the summer speeds by so quickly? Before we know it, we’ll be seeing the leaves changing colour, signalling the start of autumn.

We all know that summer is coming to an end as the days become shorter, the weather cools down and the Great Aussie BBQ tradition comes to a close.

But before the (slightly) cooler weather hits, there's still plenty of time to get your garden and outdoor spaces ready for the change in season.

If you're looking for ways to spruce up your outdoor spaces, then we've got good news for you!

This coming Saturday, February 18, ALDI is offering a range of gardening specials as part of their Special Buys. And you'll be pleased to know that most of these are available for much cheaper than usual.

The Petrol Mower 173cc is a perfect choice for those of you who are just getting into the world of gardening and experts alike since it's easy to use and manoeuvre. It costs $249 and arrives in store on Saturday, February 18 as part of this week's Special Buys.

Another notable item from the range is the $229 4-stroke edger. The tool claims to help customers get the perfect lawn edges without needing to be an expert gardener.

If you're looking for a bit more versatility in your gardening tools, then the 6-in-1 multi-garden tool could be the perfect choice.

The $199 tool allows users to shape trees and clean up the leaves, with its multi-purpose features such as a pole saw, an edger, a line trimmer, a hedge trimmer, a brush cutter, and a blower.

The range also offers items for setting up a tiny vegetable garden, perfect for those who are looking to save money on groceries by growing their own vegetables and herbs.

Battery lawn mowers, edger, blowers, whipper snipper are better. You can charge the batteries whilst having a cuppa. Even have a break when gardening when battery used up and re-charge batteries again and finish the gardening. Plus, go Ryobi One+ (One Plus) and purchase 'new' via Bunnings. Gdet Bunnings wo email their Tax Invoice. Save it as word doc and then register with Ryobi with copy of Tax Invoice and get 6 Years Warranty. No one else is providing 6 years warranty.

I always order online with Bunnings and Click & Collect and when collected they give you an A4 hard copy of the Tax Invoice and not a thermal one that fades. Then, they also email a copy of their Tax Invoice. If delivered, they email a copy of their tax invoice.

Plus, if Ryobi item fails, no questions asked within time period and they replace. Try claiming with Aldi and see how far one gets. Plus, having to return large items to them. One has to take back to the store with a copy of their faded thermal invoice. If you do decide to get this, ensure you take a photo/copy of their tax invoice and save as word doc so you have it stored if you do need to claim under warranty.

Unfortunately, there is never any there after the first twenty minutes of the shop opening?

I received a Ryobi Plus 1 mower for Christmas from son and hubby. So light and easy to use. I'm a short woman and always found mowing such hard work with petrol mowers.

I have a push mower that I take to the Tool Cafe Repair Shop in Ballarat to get sharpened every now and then and it’s all for a donation. Also I get the exercise 😊
