Garbos
Who remembers the garbos running up and down the street banging and clanging the old metal bins as they emptied the rubbish into the back of the garbage truck? They were some of the friendliest people I had ever met and worked extremely hard at their jobs. Mums always put out a cuppa and biscuits for them, while dads always put out a dozen beers for them at Christmas.
