Kmart lovers going crazy and dashing to the stores eh??? Will have to avoid it!!!!

Truly, if anyone is stupid enough to pay $4,900 for a handbag, they’re contributing to the rising cost of everything. If retailers can get away with charging these prices, they will continue to do so. People need to stop buying at these prices, then the cost will come down.

Why would anyone want a bag with a name splashed all over it, designer or not? I for one am not prepared to be an unpaid advertising billboard for someone or something that has more money in their pocket than I've seen all my life. Labels belong on the inside of items, along with the washing instructions! :):rolleyes:

You know what over the last few years I have been buying Guess handbags, under the impression that I was buying quality, fashion and leather. When the bag I tended to use the most started to disintegrate I went to my usual store and asked why this was happening, you know what I was told. Guess don't make leather handbags. All these years, here I was believing I was getting top quality and it was a ruse. I told my son that I got rid of all the bags and he said I was being silly, because isn't that like closing the gate after the horse has bolted.
I told him I was doing it on principle and the annoyance of having been led to believe they were something they were not, I would be quite happy for someone to buy it from the local op shop for what it is actually worth.

Same thing happened to my Guess bag.
Very unimpressed, feel like they should be in the $30-$40 price range, not $80-$100 range. In fact I have a bag I bought for $39.95 a few years before I bought the Guess one and it's still going strong.
