Framed!
My other half had been after me for several weeks to refurbish our ‘wooden’ toilet seat – they aren’t as cold as the plastic ones.
Finally, I got around to doing it while she was out. It took a lot of sanding and a decent coat of marine varnish.A short time later she came in to take a shower and undressed. Before getting in the shower, she sat on the toilet. As she tried to stand up, she realized that she was stuck to the toilet seat.
The varnish had hardened just enough to stick to her skin..
Her screams alerted me to her predicament. We both pushed and pulled in an attempt to get her off the toilet without success.
Finally, I unbolted the toilet seat and removed it from the pedestal. She wrapped a sheet around herself and I drove her to the hospital.
The ER doctor got her into a position where he could study how to free her (try to get a mental picture of this).
She tried to lighten the embarrassment of it all by saying, “Well, doctor, I’ll bet you’ve never seen anything like this before”
The doctor replied, “Actually, I’ve seen lots of them… I just never saw one mounted and framed”.
