Food Pantry 50 to 75 % off​

A friend told me about a Food Pantry selling groceries for between 50 to 75 % off and most items are 75% off.

So we took at trip there today . When you arrive a man gives you a ticket , we waited outside for maybe 15 minutes .
Then our number was called and in we went.

There were about 6 isles and freezer n fridges around the wall.

Everything was marked with a number 1,2,3,4 mostly 1 = 50c 2 = $1 ect.
So your basics flour, rice , 6 packs of noodles, can vegetables , lentils ect 1 or 2 points.

Meat ,packets with l large t bone steak or packets with 6 pork chops , packets of 6 lamb grillers $4 to $6 .
Large piece of fish $4.
Frozen meals $1.50
2 litre milk $1.50 limit of 1 per person
Somethings have a very close best before date others long dates

Spend $5 or above and get a free loaf of bread .
Outside the main door is a long trestle table with fruit n veg. Which there are ladies behind the table , what I couldn't believe is if you spent $5 inside, then the fruit n veg is free .
I couldn't understand why it was so cheap or free . I asked a man who worked there, and he said everything was donated by Coles , woolworths, and even hello fresh.
I told him I was just looking for cheaper groceries, and I now felt bad that someone who was in need would need these more.
He said anyone can buy these and get the free things . He said in another part they have volunteers packing food boxes for the needy, and by us, buying from the shop actually helps to support them.
He made me promise to come back and to tell others .
I think I found a place I want to donate to.
It is run completely on donations and volunteers.
