Food delivery service Menulog reveals new strategies to slash expenses!

As the cost of living continues to rise, Australians always look out for ways to stretch their dollars further.

In a timely response to the financial pinch felt by many, a food delivery service introduced a significant cost-of-living measure that could help millions of Aussies save on their orders.

Popular food delivery service Menulog launched a promotional code, FREEDOM100, which customers can use at checkout.

With the code, orders over $20 will have a waived delivery fee.

This generous offer is not a one-off deal, as it applies to all of Menulog's partner restaurants and retailers.

Considering that delivery fees can soar up to $10, this means substantial savings for regular Menulog users.

Menulog's 100-day offer could support Aussies through the busy holiday season.

Simon Cheng, Marketing Director at Menulog Australia, described the initiative as a 'thank you' to loyal customers who continue to use their service through recent tough times.

'The news of Menulog's mammoth offering comes as the cost of living continues to tighten Australian budgets, with every dollar making a difference to households,' Mr Cheng explained.

Menulog also rolled out the Delivery Pass feature, which allows users to enjoy waived delivery fees until the pass expires.

This free offer can be found in the rewards section of the Menulog app on iOS and Android.

Qualifying customers could activate the Delivery Pass feature 24 hours after making an order.

It can be used as long as the pass is active, offering even more savings and convenience.

'Our new Delivery Pass feature provides our customers with more flexibility, cost savings, and freedom to enjoy the things they love,' Cheng added, emphasising Menulog's commitment to helping Australians.

Menulog's move came as the competition among food delivery services started heating up.

Rival service UberEats offered a similar feature, which, for a monthly charge of $9.99, forgoes delivery fees.

It also provides several perks, such as a $5 credit for late deliveries.

In these trying times, Menulog's cost-of-living measure is a welcome reprieve for many.

It's a smart way to encourage customer loyalty while also acknowledging the financial challenges that people are facing.

As we all navigate the complexities of budgeting, it's heartening to see companies stepping up to offer tangible solutions that can make a difference.

Yeah that's the problem. With some things the delivery was dearer than the item you would pay for
